This 4-day course is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skills and competence to care for clients in a safe and hygienic environment by completing a Care Skills Healthcare training module.

Care of the Older Person is a 4-day QQI award and is designed is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skills and competence to meet the full range of needs of older people in a variety of care settings and explore and examine the range of needs of older people which include physical, social, emotional, psychological, recreational, financial, environmental and spiritual needs.

This course is suitable for healthcare and childcare staff. People moving and handling is run over a full day in compliance with the requirements of the with The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007

Manual handling training takes place over a half day and is run in compliance with the requirements of The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007.

2 day FAR refresher course 

This 3 day First Aid Responder (FAR) training is designed to meet the First Aid skills requirements within the workplace as required Health and Safety Authority (HSA).
